WHAT YOU'LL DO


As a Practice Area Senior Coordinator (PAC) role within Central PA Operations Team (PA), you will own and drive defined, large or complex Central PA activities or processes with minimal guidance, supporting the management of practice initiatives. A core part of this role is to interact directly with the COO of PAs and the central PA teams (e.g. the GPMS Operations team or with the Senior Director of Performance Management) around a number of PA initiatives including PA meeting preparation, driving the calendar management, finance/budget/reporting administration, steering committee call scheduling, affiliation and drafting internal communications.

Practice Area Senior Coordinator you will act as the organizer of coordinating the day to day operations of the COO (e.g. meeting agenda, prep information/ intelligence). You will also support global initiatives captured In the Change-the-business (CTB) agenda of the PAs (e.g. collecting the data/ Information for MC anaylsis). You will own PA dashboard and reporting – carrying out exec summary data pulls and creating slides and discuss them with the PA leadership. You will also own the central PA budget oversight and management of the utilization status.

We have regular large PA meetings with senior stakeholders (PALs, GPMDs etc.) and you will be the main lead for organizing these events In close collaboration with the GPMS team.

The Central PA Operations team Is In charge of defining the vision and strategy of the central practice areas and is mandated to ensure that the processes are managed In a efficient way and that the strategy of the PAs are being Implemented in a timely way. This entails the management of intersection across the BCG matrix including, Global Services, Regions, IPAs, Client Team, FPAs, BCG.X and the PA support/BU functions (Finance, Marketing, Knowledge/Expertise, HR etc.).

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 4-6+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • The ability to handle defined PA processes or smaller projects with minimal guidance (sourcing, learning programs, etc.)
  • The ability to make independent decisions within existing guidelines, advising more junior team members
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, follow-through, ownership and accountability
  • Solid analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting tasks) and a structured way of thinking
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Advanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

You will coordinate closely with the COO of Practice Areas and related teams as well as Intersecting functions and business units.
